What we collect when you order, why we need it, and who helps us make and deliver your book.

What we collect
When you order: your name, email, phone and delivery address.
For the book: your child's first name, the girl or boy version, the language, your dedication and, if you add one, their photo.
For a puzzle: your photo, if you use one instead of our pictures, and any words you add.
With an account: the details you save (your name, phone and delivery country) and the children you save (first name, version, book language and, if you give it, birth year).
When you join our list: your email.
When you visit: Google Analytics counts visits and pages seen, with Google signals and ad personalisation turned off.
Why
To make, print and deliver your book, to email you about your order (paid, made, on its way, and once to ask for a review), and to fill in your details next time. We only email you news if you join our list.
Who helps us
Stripe takes your payment; we never see your card number. Cloudprinter prints your book or puzzle and hands it to the courier with your name, address and phone. Resend sends our emails. 17TRACK follows your parcel's tracking number. Google runs our analytics and, if you choose it, signing in with Google. Vercel runs the website. Supabase keeps our database and files, in the EU (Paris).
How long we keep it
Your child's photo: deleted 30 days after the book is sent to print; for a PDF-only order, 30 days after the PDF is made; for a checkout you didn't pay, 30 days after it.
The book's print files, which include the photo: deleted 60 days after delivery, so we can still reprint a faulty book.
A digital copy (PDF and online reader): deleted a year after it is made.
A puzzle photo: deleted 60 days after delivery, so we can still reprint a faulty puzzle; one left in a basket, after a week; for a checkout you didn't pay, 30 days after it.
Your account and saved children: until you delete them or ask us to. Your place on our list: until you leave it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, and you can remove saved children from your account yourself.
